Forage Forecast
Where wild mushrooms are likely growing right now, from the trees, the rain and the season.
Live betaWhat it is
Forage Forecast scans the map you are looking at and scores every patch of forest for the mushrooms you pick. It combines the tree species in each forest from the national forest map with the last two weeks of rain and temperatures and each species' season, then ranks the best spots. Every pick comes with its lookalikes, so you know what not to take home.
